Founder: Andreas François Vermeulen
Andreas François Vermeulen is the Founder of Rapid Information and a globally recognised Head of Data, Principal Data Scientist, Principal Data Engineer, international technical book author, public speaker, and data-science trainer. With 40+ years in data engineering and data science, he created the Rapid Information Factory (RIF) methodology to help multinational private and government organisations turn business data into decision-ready insight. A noted researcher and thought leader, Andreas is best known for building high-performing teams and—by his own credo—“I create new experts in the data science field.”
As Head of Data and Head of AI, Andreas leads global strategy and oversight across data engineering; descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive, and automated analytics; data monetisation; AI; robotics; industrialisation; biomechatronics; adaptive blockchain; and the conversion of research into products. He architects fully agent-based Gen-AI ecosystems using neurosymbolic reasoning, driving AI-first and cloud-first business transformation as a Global Principal AI & Data Expert and former Chief Digital, Data & AI Officer / CTO. Strategic thinker, futurist, and ecopreneur, his interests span ubiquitous computing, humanoid AI, biomimetics, transhumanism, digital sovereignty, and digital twins.
